NoshGirl Chef Challenge!

Events / Giveaways / Partnerships

Oh man, I’m so excited about everything happening on the blog this week! (Have you entered my giveaway yet?).  Well, here’s one more thing to add to the list – the very first NoshGirl Chef Challenge!

Introducing the contenders!
(Pop on over to their blogs and say hi!)

The premise is quite simple, really…

In this post, I reveal two mystery ingredients (oooOOOOooh) – I’m sticking with easy-to-find stuff that’s less than $5 each, no uni or ghee here (for now).  The three contenders have until Sunday night to create a delectable delight using the two mystery ingredients and post about their creations!

Here’s where YOU come in.  Next Monday, I’ll be posting links to all 3 creations, and you can vote on the most yummilicious one!  Voting closes Wednesday night.  Thursday morning I’ll announce the big winner of …..wait for it…. 2 authentic NYC black-and-white cookies from my favorite black-and-white cookie place in the world.

This is a friendly competition – I know all 3 of these girls and they are sweethearts!  I’m really looking forward to seeing what they come up with and having everyone share ideas.   And now for the mystery ingredients…. they are –

1. Plain Yogurt
2. Brown Sugar

(I’m not trying to trip them up here; no gummy bears and wonton skins, Chopped style)

Good luck, challengers!   And be sure to check back next Monday to VOTE on your favorite recipe!  Readers – what would you make with the two mystery ingredients?
