Happy Friday! Yay, we made it! I’m kicking off the weekend with a new series. Every Friday I’ll post a little fun fact or tidbit that will (usually) be food related. You may know some of these facts, but hopefully some of them will be new to you! So let’s get started, shall we?
To get rid of the stinky smell on your hands after handling garlic or onions, rub your fingers against stainless steel under running water (your kitchen sink or a spoon could work). The smell will come right off!

1I never knew that, though I have seen those "steel cakes" they sell for this purpose. It makes sense that other types of stainless would work, too. Happy weekend
2Totally! It definitely does work. I used to freak out when my hands would smell like garlic. I have this stainless steel bar and it works like magic

10Great tip! I cook with garlic all the time and have never been able to get the smell off my fingers, so this tip is going to be useful indeed!
