Fun Fact Friday


Happy Friday, Noshers!  Wow, it sure is a blizzard out there! (Literally!).  I was going to go to the Cheers to Chocolate show this weekend, but I just received notice that it has been cancelled :(. Sad!  Instead I’ll be spending some time catching up on sleep, time with friends and perhaps doing some baking!

As a New Yorker, I’m especially fond of today’s Fun Fact:



Tomorrow is National Bagel & Lox Day!

 YUM!  I love an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, lox, red onions and capers.  (And a breath mint afterward, haha).

    Sadsies on the canceled chocolate show! You should make it up to yourself by creating your own snowed in chocolate feast.

    My go to bagel is everything with plain cream cheese. But if I’m feeling hungry a lox bagel with cream cheese and capers and onion is right up my alley. Oh but only with a lemon wedge!

    Everything bagel toasted with sundried tomato cream cheese! Runner up, same thing except with jalapeño cream cheese! 🙂

    Did you ever do a piece on the best (freshest, most variety of bagels and toppings) bagel places in each borough? That would be so great to know!
