Oh happy day, Noshers! How have your days been lately? The weather here in KC has been gorgeous lately – up to the high-70s recently, and I’ve certainly been taking advantage of that! Today, I’m happy to share my experiences with some amaaazing tea products I sampled from UncommonGoods. Yum! I’m a huge tea aficionado, so when I learned of this opportunity, I was super excited :). Happy Tuesday, Noshers! Today, I’m super excited to share an early Valentine’s Day post and spread some Valentine’s Day cheer with a few recipes and a GIVEAWAY! This year, I’m partnering with Le Creuset to highlight a few of their adorably drool-worthy Valentine’s Day offerings – such as the petite heart cocotte and the slightly larger heart cocotte. I looooove my two Le Creuset Dutch ovens and a heart-shaped addition is just out of this world! I mean, just look at this: Continue Reading
Full confession – I have a bit of a tea obsession. It started with the super sweet milk tea that accompanied dim sum excursions growing up, followed with myriad bubble tea variations, unsweetened iced teas as a substitute for soda, and the pleasant ritual of traditional afternoon tea. I now have a cup of tea at least once a day – starting with a morning black tea, followed with an afternoon cup, and sometimes finished with a dessert or herbal tea in the evening. I always favor unsweetened these days. I appreciate a good cup of coffee, but for me, tea’s where it’s at. Continue Reading
Snowday‘s signature maple grilled cheese – AMAZING
Happy happy Thursday, Noshers!! It’s almost the weeeeekend! I can’t wait – any fun plans?
Today I’m sharing my photos from the absolutely mouthwatering, gut-busting eat-stravaganza that was The Village Voice’s 4th Annual Choice Streets Food Truck Event. It was the event’s fourth year, but my first time attending – and wow, was I missing out. I actually was so excited that I brought my dSLR camera without its battery – UGH!! My worst nightmare. So I had to rely on my shoddy camera on my phone. Thankfully, with a ton of food trucks lined up on Pier 86th with the Intrepid as a backdrop, the event was a sight for sore eyes (and growling stomachs). My eating buddy and I stuffed ourselves silly.
But what you really are waiting for – the pictures! Without further ado: Continue Reading
Delicious goodness from last year’s Ramp Fest
Happy Tuesday, Noshers! While the weather here in NYC is still playing games with my heart, I’m very much looking forward to one of my favorite seasonal farmer’s market buys – the delicate but flavorful ramp. So, I’m extremely excited to share with you the details of Ramp Fest 2015! I’m super sad that I won’t be able to attend this year since I’ll be out of town – however, I really hope one of you Noshers will attend and let me know ALL about it. I’m had previously attended Ramp Fest 2014 and Ramp Fest 2013 (see my picture-heavy recaps here and here) and it was absolutely mouth-watering!!
