Montauk Point Lighthouse



I spent this past weekend in Montauk, at the very end of Long Island.  While the Hamptons swell with visitors and beachgoers during the summer, at this time of year it is refreshingly quiet and laid back.  While out there, I visited the Montauk Point Lighthouse, which is the oldest lighthouse in New York, authorized by George Washington in 1792. EMP Summer House

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to visit EMP Summer House in East Hampton.  EMP is the more casual summer pop-up of Eleven Madison Park, with a relaxed atmosphere and seasonally inspired menu.  This is the second year of EMP Summer House – I visited last year as well and was curious to see how year two compared!
