When I visited Ireland last year, I spent a few days at the Park Hotel Kenmare while sightseeing around the Ring of Kerry (I highly recommend checking out the Wild Atlantic Way – aka the West coast – of Ireland by the way; it’s breathtaking). Built in 1897, the Park Hotel Kenmare is situated on Kenmare Bay with mountain views, tons of scenic walks (or as I like to call them – “hike lites”), a delicious restaurant, and a resident horse :). The hotel itself is tucked away in a quiet and serene location but still centrally located to local sights.  Lucky for you, I captured some moments from my brief but memorable stay 😉 :

During my roadtrip around Ireland last year, we spent a few days at the K Club in County Kildare.  Just about an hour outside of Dublin, the K Club is located on a sprawling property that includes perfectly manicured gardens, an award winning golf course that hosted the Ryder Cup, multiple restaurants, and (though not advertised) a patch of lawn in which I found multiple 4- and 5-leaf clovers 🙂 Continue Reading

First, the small feat of figuring out how to get in… Continue Reading

I can’t wait to share more about my way-too-short trip with you, but I just *had* to share some photos from my visit to The Museum of Ice Cream.  I mean – this is my kind of museum, amirite? sedona-2016-57

Happy Wednesday, all!  Today, I’m super excited to share some snaps from a recent weekend trip to Scottsdale and Sedona.  This part of the country is  just amazing – red rocks galore, saguaros towering over agave plants, and 120 degree weather (as I’ve told everyone who gasped – “But it’s a dry heat!”).  I  completed some fantastic hikes and relaxed a ton at our home base resort.  I think the pictures speak for themselves though – check it out!

Don’t have much to complain about when was the view from our balcony at The Westin Kierland!  As a loyal Starwood Preferred Guest member, we used points to pay for this room. Yay! Continue Reading
