Happy hump day, Noshers! This week has been ridiculously busy, but thankfully there are some fun activities to get me through it :). One such event was a fabulous happy hour event hosted by The Blog Guild – of which I recently became a member! The Blog Guild has been a great way for me to meet fellow KC-area bloggers and introduce me to some new blogs – yay! Yesterday’s event at Golden and Pine featured yummy eats from Heirloom Bakery & Hearth (at which I discovered the BEST sandwich cookie in KC – details here!), such as these beautiful focaccia with red pepper hummus, sheep’s milk cheese, sage greens, and flowers:
And don’t think I didn’t partake in those rose doughnuts in the background – yassssssss! So delish.
Not going to lie, I have a total store crush on Golden and Pine. The space is beautiful, full of light, and packed with a ton of curated goodies – I wanted them all!
I especially loved these growing kits and food coffee-table books. If you’ve been following along, you’ll remember that I have a self-imposed ban on purchasing more cookbooks (I have a ton! And I love them all!), but if I receive them as a gift then it’s technically “ok” in my crazy rules. So you can guess what I’ve been requesting for birthday and Christmas presents! 🙂
This selection was the bomb (ahhhh, I’m the corniest person ever):
But seriously folks, if everything I planted didn’t wither away I would totally give these seed bomb packets a try. The store also featured a beautiful selection of tableware, such as this golden flatware (love!!) as well as cheese boards (also love!!):
And candles – I should probably enact another self-imposed ban on candles. I have way too many – but each is so different from the other, am I right? I gotta have them all!
And paper goods galore – somebody stop me!
Golden and Pine is just the cutest little shop, and I’ll definitely be returning. I may or may not have told shop owner Stephanie that I want to live there because it’s just so cute – too much? Ah well. I’ll just have to settle with visiting :).
